penguinswithguns: stillcanttimetravel: idontfindyouthatinteresting: tobusbus: for the anon who wanted this rebloggable Hilariously, whats more messed up is, firstly, is that people can’t see how intelligent the show is, I watch it because it challenges me, both psychologically and academically and secondly, that people think that if you see something on screen you will automatically copy.  Thats far more messed up than a tv show about a cannibal.  Every piece of theatre, television or film has a protagonist and an antagonist, in the past, the different genres have been required (sometimes by law - The Hays Code in America) to side the audience with the protagonist, a man who can do no wrong, who is more than likely religious (christian) and a pillar of moral society. In today’s cinema we are asked to consider the cruelty and evil that resides even in the best of men, and we are put in the shoes of an antagonist or, what is now called the “anti-hero.”  It shows, not only a development in the medium itself, but in our governments and our minds. We are being asked, to think for ourselves. If you don’t want to think for yourself, thats your problem, most certainly not mine. I just like people eating other people there are two types of people
